Yay, my first outfit blog post!  Just bear with me through my first couple outfit photo shoots, I still haven’t gotten the poses and faces right yet.

I’m not sure why, and maybe it’s because I am so fair skinned and it helps me look more tan, but I have really been loving white this summer! I have been trying to find ways to wear all white without making it look to stuffy and when I found this super comfortable tank top at the Goodwill, I think I finally nailed it.

When I tried this tank on I instantly fell in love with it, it’s silky and it’s shorter in length which is great for someone like me who is fairly short it height because it helps me appear taller/longer.
Unfortunately, I didn’t seem to get all the creases out before taking photos but I think it still looks decent. Lesson learned though, don’t fold silk!

My bag is nothing special, but it’s great because it expands to hold everything I need when I’m going to work and need to carry my lunch, my wallet, and all my gym clothes/shoes. Plus, I have really fallen in love with the color! It seems pair well with everything in my closet!

I have to tell you about my shoes, too! I am all about a great buy (as you can tell since most of my stuff cost me $5 from a thrift store!) and I got these shoes of this great site called Shoebacca. The best part is, even though they are $60 shoes, I got them for only about $35 because I scored this amazing Groupon getting me half off! Sometimes it pays to be cheap I suppose!

I have really come to love DIY jewlery and I made my necklace after I made the DIY “hex nut” bracelet from Honestly…WTF. I thought it would be a great going out piece… it’s “hardware Chic!”

My bracelet is really something special because it was handmade by my sister Brittan Davis of Little Owl Arts. She makes beautiful jewelry, scarves and other fiber art finds! Plus one major perk is that since I am her sister I get a sweet discount on her works of art!

Ugh, between my mom’s love of shopping and shoes and my sister’s jewelry creations, I had no hope! Thank goodness for this blog!
